Respect for the child's developmental process
Aware that each individual is unique, Dr. Montessori defined these “moments when the child is ready” as the sensitive periods are periods in which the child shows a special interest in learning about certain areas; stages that we could describe as learning windows, through which the little one learns naturally and therefore develops a taste for learning and does not seem tedious or tedious.
